Classified Ad Usage Policy

This site is provided as a free convenience for multisport enthusiasts who wish to buy, sell, or barter goods and services relating to multisport, sports, and affiliated healthy lifestyle interests. We ask that all users use courtesy and respect when conducting business through this service.

Advertisements are completely managed by the user, but will be reviewed by administrators shortly after posting; if they are deemed inappropriate they will be removed by the administrator and the user will be informed of the decision.

Privacy

User registration for the site requires certain information that will be stored in a secure user-account database. This information is collected by default by the software licensed by MultiSport Canada. MultiSport Canada will not use any of this personal information for any purpose. Please review the MultiSport Canada Privacy statement for more information.

Use of Email Address

From time to time, the site administrator may send email messages to all users of the MultiSport Classifieds system. These messages may concern system outages, changes to system policies, or requests for feedback. Your email address as submitted to this site will not be used for any other purpose.

Commercial Use Prohibited

This site is provided for private individuals to advertise goods and services related to multisport athletics, general health and nutrition. If you provide a commercial service, please refrain from using this site. If you are a commercial service provider, we would be happy to provide you with paid advertising space on this site and the MultiSport Canada web site. Please contact John Salt for advertising and sponsorship information.

MultiSport Canada Classified Listings is run as a service for multisport enthusiasts and cannot take responsibility for the quality of the items presented herein.

MultiSport Canada disclaims any warranties expressed or implied on goods or services listed on the service. MultiSport Canada DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANT ABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Under no circumstances, including, but not limited to negligence, shall MultiSport Canada be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials in this site, even if MultiSport Canada or a MultiSport Canada authorized representative has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Applicable law may not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability or incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. Sellers assume all risk and liability arising from their offer for sale of any item.

MultiSport Canada reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time. Postings deemed inappropriate by MultiSport Canada system administrators will be removed.

Users must be of legal age with the ability to enter into binding contracts.

The auction of illegal items, including all counterfeit goods, are expressly prohibited. MultiSport Canada will terminate the auction of any such items upon notification by the legitimate trademark or copyright holder and the Seller of such items may be subject to suspension.

MultiSport Canada does not assume responsibility for the content or the context of the listings.

MultiSport Canada cannot guarantee that we will notice or prevent any inappropriate use of the system.

MultiSport Canada cannot guarantee that sellers will complete the sale of an item, or that buyers will go through with the purchase of an item; all risk is taken by the individual buyers and sellers. This includes but is not limited to risks associated with dealing with foreign nationals, underage persons, or persons acting under false pretense. Know your trading partner! Practice SAFE Trading!

Payment terms are to be agreed upon between seller and buyer. MultiSport Canada is not involved in the transaction.

MultiSport Canada is not responsible for damage or loss caused by errors in the system or the Internet. The system may be unavailable unexpectedly as a result of errors or circumstances beyond our control. Use the FREE Classifieds at your own risk. The Rules and the Terms and Conditions of this Disclaimer may be amended from time to time, by MultiSport Canada in its sole discretion.

MultiSport Canada and its subsidiaries are hereby released of any liability and held harmless in regard to the above services and customer agrees to indemnify Consolidated for all cost and expenses, including reasonable attorney fees, incurred by Consolidated in providing this service.
